Walraven’s Supply Chain is international and complex: The products are being produced in 6 (company-owned) factories across Europe (and 4 factories outside Europe). Combine this with an extensive range of bought-in goods and global sales, you can imagine the challenge! The central Supply Chain-department in Mijdrecht aims to support both sales and manufacturing and maximize efficiency and costs vs. product availability by orchestrating the global Supply Chain.
Objeqtive Recruitment is exclusively recruiting Walraven’s S&O-lead EU (Mijdrecht-NL & Remote – 32-40 hours – permanent)
As a S&OP-lead (EU), you will be responsible for executing, coordinating and optimization of the overall S&OP process and shaping the 12-month rolling demand plan for all articles (5-6K). You will continuously monitor market developments, connecting and collaborating closely with colleagues in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Sales, Finance and IT to ensure forecasts reflect market trends, customer insights and commercial expectations. Your work has direct impact on stock availability, supply stability and overall business performance.
Next to this you are responsible for:
- Analyze market trends, exceptions, customer demand patterns, historical data and events to improve forecast accuracy and optimize inventory levels across markets, product groups and item level;
- Identify and mitigate risks related to Supply Chain disruptions, capacity constraints and inventory shortages through proactive scenario planning;
- Chairing the S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment between demand, supply and business objectives;
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning across S&OP and related teams in the whole organization;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance S&OP processes and planning performance;
- Provide regular performance reports, KPIs and improvement recommendations to senior management.

Next to this you possess:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in SCM, Logistics Management, Applied Maths or relevant;
- 3-5 years of professional experience in demand planning or a comparable role in an international environment;
- Experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems (ideally D365, Power BI and Microsoft Office);
- Strong communication skills and the ability to act both independently and as a team player;
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-changing environment;
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and writing (Dutch is preferred).
